One week and counting and we will be back in the green. I called my sister, Catherine Power, last week and insisted she join me and my company Power Strategies, inc. again for the Dunmore East International Bluegrass Festival 2008 like she had done spontaneously in 2007, unlike last year where she said, “let me think about it!” this year she said “Sure!” This year she will be working with me, as working as working can get by the sea in Dunmore East with bluegrass fiddlers all round, as we are bring Internet radio and TV coverage crew over to interview the bands and VIP’s in Dunmore East. Kim Power Stilson gets a little closer to Ireland
Sometimes Ireland is all I can think of, especially when stress is high. I imagine myself sitting on the edge of a sea cliff overlooking Dunmore East in County Waterford. The sun is sparkling on the waves (for in my Ireland the sun comes out daily — hahah) and I watch as the fishing boats drift and the seagulls circle over head. I imagine myself sprouting wings and flying with them over the boats, across the sea, circling over the sunlit waves capturing their energy and loving every minute of the carefree feeling. I miss Ireland and when I ask myself why I work so hard the answer is the same, “to take my family back to Ireland!” I will return, I will, you will read my blog posts from there very soon!
